Moffat started his television scripting profession on Media Group, the ITV Kid's dilemma, in 1989. Since then he has gone onto to perform on a large range of programs such as Remain Fortunate, Kidding Apart, Killing Most Terrible, Chalk, Jekyll and Combining.
Steven Moffat was one of the first authors contacted by Russell T Davies when he was preparing the come back of Physician Who in 2005, resulting in Moffat composing one of the most seriously recommended testimonies of that first sequence, The Clear Child/The Physician Dances. Moffat went on to compose several more periods of the display, developing aliens such as The Weeping Angels and figures such as Stream Tune. When Davies remaining the sequence, Moffat was the apparent heir, getting the helm of the display for the release of He Jackson as The 11th Physician and developing the figures of Amy and Rory.
Running similar to the achievements of Physician Who, Moffat has, together with Level Gatiss, designed Sherlock, upgrading Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's testimonies and putting Sherlock Holmes and Dr Bob Watson's strongly in the Twenty first millennium.
